Semi-Private Courses

A “semi-private golf course” is a golf course that sells memberships as well as allows non-members to book tee times and play. Thus, a semi-private course is a combination of a country club (or private) course and a public golf course.

Member benefits traditionally include, but are not limited to, reduced (or completely waived) green fees, preferential tee times as well as access to other amenities or perks offered by the club.

Non-members can typically play the golf course but usually pay higher green fees but are restricted from using other parts of the club (locker rooms, swimming pool or tennis courts, for example) that are reserved for members.
